Renn tagged me in a survey! And I have nothing else to blog about because my day has not been that interesting.
1. What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday.
Sleeping in, not thinking about school, cleaning (ideally), and going out to eat like a normal adult with energy.
2. Which food do you wish could be calorie-free for all time?
All pasta, and Nutella. There is nothing like eating Nutella after a rough day at school, but when I am eating by the spoonful and its 200 calories a tablespoon, I tend to feel really guilty about eating it ha.
3. What is your favorite Christmas gift from childhood?
The nutcracker that I got in second grade. I had just watched the ballet, and I was sooo obsessed with it. That was also the Christmas that I discovered that nutcrackers actually crack nuts (I am not sure how I had missed this connection before).
4. If you could be a parent of as many children as you wanted, how many would you have?
19 kids and counting....hahahaha. I think Matt and I will discuss this topic 2 years past our wedding date!
5. Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Sleeping Beauty (Aurora).
6. What's one of your favorite stories in the Bible and why?
I will never forget learning the story of the house that had been founded upon a rock in Vacation Bible School way back in 1998. My mom and uncle taught my class, and we made houses on rocks out of milk cartons and clay, then tested them. Later on, when I joined Gamma Phi Beta, I learned that it was the official bible verse/story for our sorority! It has a lot of meaning for me. 7. What is one item you feel you couldn't live without.
I will agree with Renn....my hair straightener! I was such hot mess in high school before I started straightening it. I just feel gross when I cannot straighten it and fix it, and end up putting in a ponytail, which puts me in a gross/miserable mood the rest of the day. I am super pumped that I now own a Chi! It was a Christmas present to me from me this year, and it was BOGO at Ulta so I got a curling iron with it for free!
8. What did you want to be when you grew up and do you think you will ever be that.
On my first day of Kindergarten, I told my mom I wanted to go to Harvard (how did I know what that was???) to be a Kindergarten teacher just like my teacher, Mrs. Climmer. I am now a first year kindergarten teacher and I love it!
9. What is the worst/most embarrassing CD/Albums you've ever owned and do you still have it?
Aaron Carter, featuring "That's How I Beat Shaq."
10. What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name?
The original name my parents planned for me was Laura, and I always told my mom I liked that name better because I went to school with 6 Holly's ha.
11. What is your favorite item of clothing and why?
My awesome blue Nike shorts. They look awesome with my new Nike Airs, and they are SO comfy after being in my classroom all day!
